Printed Soviet propaganda posters in 1:35 scale, one of the items of the Printed Accessories range. An accessory for dioramas and vignettes with city or interior scenery.
Responsibility details are not available.
A poster on a wall is a detail that gives a diorama its period and its place faster than a whole building. Soviet propaganda graphics are rewarding in this respect: bold areas, strong contrasts and lettering recognizable even in a small scale. On the real subject the posters appeared where plenty of people saw them, that is on the walls of houses, on fences, on posts and inside official rooms.
A printed accessory from the Printed Accessories range in 1:35 scale, carrying its own designation. The subject is Soviet propaganda posters. How many subjects the package contains and in what sizes are stated on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the individual posters out with a sharp blade and tear the edges irregularly as needed, so that they come across as worn. Apply the glue thinly and only where the poster is to hold; choose the type of glue according to the manufacturer's instructions, so that the print is not harmed. Leave a glued poster lifted away in a few places, and the scene gains in believability straight away. Add dirt and fading sparingly and test the procedure on an offcut first.
The accessory will be put to use by builders of dioramas and vignettes with city buildings, ruins or interiors who are looking for a small thing to liven up otherwise empty areas of wall. It comes into its own as a display-case accessory beside equipment of the same scale too. Paints, glue and kits are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
