A resin detail set for experienced modelers from CMK in 1:35 scale. It is not a stand-alone model but a collection of precise resin parts that replaces or completes the powerplant of a plastic kit of the Pz.38(t) light tank in the Ausf. E/F versions. It makes it possible to open the engine compartment up and show the machinery inside.
The Pz.38(t) was a light tank of Czechoslovak origin (the LT vz. 38), which the German army deployed in large numbers in the Second World War. The E and F versions were among the more heavily armored forms and were powered by an inline Praga gasoline engine.
First wash the parts to remove any remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Bring the engine out with a wash and drybrushing, and add oil and dust effects for a faithful working look.
It is supplied as a resin set, unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
