This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model. The precisely cast air intakes replace the plastic parts from the kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. The resin version has a more faithful shape and cleaner intake mouths than injected plastic. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstorer) of the Second World War, powered by inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engines. It served as an escort and attack aircraft and later above all as a successful night fighter. On the engine nacelles it carried prominent cooling and supercharger air intakes, whose shape this set sharpens.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears. Cut the casting block off with a knife or a saw, sand the mating surface and glue the part in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). When sanding resin, protect your airways with a respirator and ventilate the room. Apply a primer before painting.
