This injection-molded plastic kit from AFV Club presents the British Ordnance QF 6-pounder anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale. The set is made up of plastic parts complemented by metal and photo-etched items and faithfully reproduces the barrel, the breech, the shield and the spreading wheeled carriage. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Ordnance QF 6-pounder of 57 mm caliber was a British anti-tank gun of the Second World War that replaced the weaker 2-pounder guns. It proved itself in North Africa and in Europe, British and Allied units used it, and it was also built under license in the United States as the 57 mm Gun M1.
Glue the plastic parts with thin cement for plastic, and attach the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. After applying the base coat, choose British olive shades or a desert camouflage, bring out the barrel with a metal tone and finish the whole with a wash and fine dusting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
