A resin accessory set from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a replacement for the wheels on a model of the Australian armored personnel carrier ASLAV-25. On an eight-wheeled vehicle there are a lot of tires and they are seen close up, so it is precisely they that decide whether the running gear looks credible. A resin casting has no mold seam across the center of the tread, and the rendering of the tread pattern is crisper than on a two-part plastic component.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface; without that neither paint nor glue will hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and true the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin, because the dust is very fine. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; cement for plastic does not work on resin. Before gluing, fit the wheels dry and check whether the vehicle stands level on all eight. Paint the tires separately and fit them only when they are finished, because once they are glued on you cannot reach the inner side.
For modelers of present-day vehicles who build the ASLAV in 1:35 scale, and for diorama makers, where the running gear is in the foreground. Working with resin assumes cyanoacrylate glue and basic experience of preparing castings.
