This is NOT a vehicle model but a resin replacement wheel set from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:35 scale. It replaces the wheels from the Trumpeter plastic kit of the Soviet BTR-40 light wheeled armored personnel carrier. The bottom of the tires is cast sagged, so that the wheels sit realistically under the weight of the vehicle.
The wheels with their faithful tread pattern are fitted to the chassis of the base kit in place of the plastic parts from the box. A masking template for separating the rim from the tire during painting is usually included. The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and the sprue gates and glue with cyanoacrylate. Sand the resin with your airways protected.
