This injection-molded plastic kit captures the BTR-60PB wheeled armored personnel carrier in its modernized form. The model in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit meant for gluing and finishing.
The BTR-60PB is an eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier of Soviet design with an amphibious capability and a rotating turret with machine gun armament. It served to carry infantry and became a widespread vehicle with a number of armies. Modernized forms were given newer equipment and changes that extended their service life.
With eight-wheeled carriers we recommend assembling the axles and the wheel suspension carefully. Thin cement for plastic, a base primer and an airbrush have proved themselves. The look will be brought to life by washes into the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the chassis.
