A detailed kit of the Russian T-80UK command main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model is made up of a large number of parts and contains a slide-molded hull, individual link tracks, a photo-etched part and a metal cable. It thus offers rich detail on both the turret and the running gear.
The T-80UK is the command version of the T-80U tank. It gives commanders extended communications and control equipment and is fitted with the Shtora-1 defensive system with an infrared jammer and a warning suite. It carries an advanced fire control system and additional turret armor.
Assemble the running gear and the individual track links before the final painting. Use thin cement on the joints and glue the metal cable with super glue. Spray the surfaces with an airbrush and finish with washes and pigments for dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
