A finished instrument panel from the LööK range by the manufacturer Eduard for a model of the P-51D-5 aircraft in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The P-51D is an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War in which the teardrop canopy opened up the view in every direction. The D-5 block belongs to the first production batches of this version. It is precisely on a model with a clearly transparent canopy that more of the cockpit is visible than on the older configurations, so the instrument panel stops being a detail that can be dealt with by a single coat of dark paint.
A finished instrument panel part for a model of the P-51D-5 in 1:32 scale, from the range that the manufacturer Eduard sells under the LööK name. The part replaces the panel from the kit, and the point of such a replacement is a finer and more three-dimensional rendition of the dials and the small controls. The manufacturer's instructions give the exact contents of the set and how to fit it.
Dry fit the part in the model first and only then take material off the original panel or off the area around the cockpit. If the part seats without pressure, it has no tendency to push itself out once the glue has dried. Wash and degrease the surfaces before gluing, and bond the joint with super glue applied in drops to the edge, not into the middle of the visible surface. Assemble and fit the cockpit before you close the fuselage, otherwise you will not be able to reach the part. The dials stand out when a drop of gloss varnish is applied to them after fitting, imitating the glass of the instrument.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
