Modeling tweezers with a curved tip. The curve lets you grip a small part at an angle and reach where straight tweezers cannot see.
Responsibility details are not available.
Tweezers with a curved tip are part of the basic equipment of a modeling bench. The curve keeps your hand out of the line of sight, so you can see the part even at the moment you are placing it. They come into their own when seating small parts into the depth of a cockpit or an engine bay, when bending and holding photo-etched items, when carrying a decal from the paper onto the model and when working with parts that are too small for fingers.
Grip the part as close to the tips as possible and press only as much as is needed to hold it. Springy items have a tendency to shoot away, so keep a free palm over the work surface or fence the bench in so that the little part does not end up on the floor. When gluing with super glue, take care that the drop does not get onto the tips, otherwise the tweezers will stick to the part. Remove glue residue from the tips at once, while it is still soft.
Do not use the tweezers as a lever or as a scraper; a bent arm will no longer meet precisely and the tips will lose their alignment. After work wipe them and store them so that the tips do not knock against anything. Check against the light from time to time whether the tips still touch along their whole length.
This is a tool, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The dimensions and the material of the tweezers are given on the packaging.
