A plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma heavy reconnaissance armored car in 1:35 scale from AK Interactive. The model offers a one-piece turret body with faithful weld texture, a movable assembly of the 50 mm gun with a one-piece barrel and muzzle brake, and commander and loader hatches that can be built open or closed. A large decal sheet from the Cartograf printing house is enclosed.
The Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma was the first production variant of the Sd.Kfz.234 family of eight-wheeled armored cars. It was armed with a 50 mm gun and a 7.92 mm machine gun in a fully rotating turret. The first vehicles were delivered at the end of 1943 and production ended in 1944.
Use liquid cement on the plastic. Finish the running gear and the eight-wheeled chassis first, and only then the hull and the turret. Spray a primer and the camouflage with an airbrush; bring out the edges and the running gear with washes and with pigments for dust and mud. The rich Cartograf sheet lets you choose from a range of period vehicles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
