Loudspeakers (1:72) — a Firma49 resin accessory

A set of resin horn speakers made by SLA 3D printing in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Firma49. It is not a model but a diorama accessory that brings a street scene, a railway station or a military post to life at this small scale. Horn speakers served for announcements and propaganda above all in the period of the world wars and the postwar era.

Use

In 1:72 scale the parts are very small and fine, so work with tweezers. Before gluing, wash the print resin residue off them, separate them from the print supports and fix them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The speakers can be painted in metallic or gray shades and lightly weathered.
