A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from the firm PANZER ART representing the front one-piece cast cover of the differential and the final drive of the American M4 Sherman tank in its late rounded form. It is not a model of the tank but a detail accessory that replaces the original front part of the hull. The set is intended for Dragon or Tasca kits.
The M4 Sherman was the most widely used American and Allied medium tank of the Second World War. The front differential cover was made in several forms; the late one-piece rounded sharp nose cover simplified production and improved resistance to hits.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up (with respiratory protection). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; the cast surface and the bolts stand out once a fine wash and pigments have been applied.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. A corresponding base kit of the M4 Sherman tank is needed to use it.
