Evolution Miniatures 1:35 Soviet infantrymen 1941 to 1943 is an unpainted multi-figure set in 1:35 scale that the maker recommends for a scene with a KV-1 tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure set in 1:35 scale from the maker Evolution Miniatures with Soviet infantrymen of the years 1941 to 1943 as its subject. The name is in the plural, so there are several figures, but the exact number is not stated here. In the designation the maker recommends the set for a scene with a KV-1 tank, which is a pointer for the composition of a diorama rather than a tie to one particular kit.
The Soviet field uniform of this period is painted in khaki to olive tones. With a multi-figure set it pays to vary the base shade slightly so that the figures do not look like castings in one and the same color, but keep the spread small, otherwise the scene will lose its coherence. Do the leather straps and pouches in brown tones and the footwear darker. Leave the helmets in khaki with a higher proportion of green and matte. Darken the metal parts of the equipment first and only then polish them gently. The particular equipment and armament are not specified here, so go by the actual contents of the package.
The material of the castings is not stated here. Wash resin parts in warm water with detergent and glue them with cyanoacrylate, while polystyrene ones are bonded with modeling cement for plastic. Clean up the parting lines and the sprue nubs before the primer is sprayed. With a set of several figures, plan the composition in advance, that is who stands where and how the figures are turned, and only then glue and paint them for good. Work in batches so that all the figures go through the same primer, the same wash and the same final coat. Leave the faces until the end and do them in one sitting so that they have the same skin tone.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
