Spare Wheels for Tiger I is a resin set of spare road wheels in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART for the heavy tank Tiger I. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale from the Polish company PANZER ART contains cast spare road wheels of the German heavy tank Tiger I, that is wheels meant to be stowed on the hull or the turret as a reserve. It is not a model but a detail accessory for enriching a kit.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with a characteristic interleaved running gear of steel road wheels with rubber tire bands. Crews often carried a spare wheel fixed to the vehicle. The castings faithfully capture both the pressed disc and the rubber tire band.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Since this is a carried spare wheel, it has no flattening under load; paint it with an even tire band. Add scuffing, rust on the contact surfaces and dust effects.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
