Ju 87D/G Stuka 1:72 — a set of self-adhesive Eduard painting masks in yellow kabuki paper for clean unmasking of the glazed cockpit and the wheels of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely die-cut set of self-adhesive masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a plastic model of the Junkers Ju 87D/G Stuka dive bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks in fine Japanese kabuki paper hold well, follow rounded surfaces and leave no adhesive when taken off. They cover the subdivided glazing of the long cockpit and the transparent parts so that only the frames stay crisply bounded after spraying. The set normally includes masks for the wheels as well, for painting the tire and the disc separately.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber with a characteristically cranked wing and fixed landing gear. The Ju 87D version was a late development series with an aerodynamically improved nose and a more powerful engine. The Ju 87G sub-version, nicknamed Kanonenvogel, carried a pair of anti-tank cannons under the wings and specialized in destroying armored equipment on the Eastern Front.
Lift a mask off the sheet with a sharp blade or tweezers, lay it on the part and press it down all the way round. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not run under the edge. Remove the masks while the finish is still fresh. Mask the long greenhouse canopy patiently, panel by panel.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
