1:35 A stowage and equipment set for the Daimler Dingo is a resin accessory from PANZER ART for the British light scout car. It is not a kit but an accessory to a model in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The resin set imitates the personal kit and stowage of a British crew carried on a small scout car. On such a small vehicle the stowage is particularly visible, because it takes up a substantial part of the visible faces and changes the whole silhouette. It is an accessory to a plastic kit in 1:35 scale, and the model of the car itself is not part of the package.
The Daimler Scout Car, nicknamed the Dingo, was a British light armored scout car with four-wheel drive and a crew of two. It was small, low and fast, which made it a favorite means of reconnaissance and liaison with armored units. The inside was very cramped, so crews carried practically everything apart from weapons and the radio set on the outside, fastened to the hull and the fenders. It is exactly that which gives a model of the Dingo its typical mismatched, used look.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting, so that they are rid of the mold release agent. Separate the casting blocks with a fine saw, sand the contact faces wet and use protection for your airways. Resin is glued with super glue, ideally in spots and with an activator. On British vehicles a base in khaki or olive brown suits well, but paint the stowage deliberately differently so that it separates from the body. Lighten the tarpaulins in the folds, darken the leather strapping and at the end tie everything together with a thinned wash and fine dust at the lower edges.
This is an accessory to a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
