Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of German assault guns in 1:35 scale from Takom in a 2 in 1 box. From one set you can build either the StuH 42 assault howitzer with a 105 mm barrel or the StuG III Ausf.G in the early version with a 75 mm gun. A photo-etched fret, metal gun barrels and link-and-length tracks are usually included; check the exact contents against the packaging.
Assault guns on the chassis of the Panzer III tank were among the most widespread German vehicles of the Second World War. The StuG III Ausf.G was both a tank destroyer and a mainstay of infantry support with its 75 mm gun, while the StuH 42 replaced the gun with a 105 mm howitzer for fire support against fortifications and infantry. The low silhouette without a rotating turret made both vehicles hard targets to hit and a weapon that was cheap to produce.
Decide in advance which of the two variants you are building, because the barrel and some of the superstructure parts differ. First assemble and paint the running gear and the link-and-length tracks, and only then close up the hull. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate. Unify the base with a primer and spray the camouflage with an airbrush. Washes in the details and dust pigments on the running gear will provide the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
