Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of road tracks for the Soviet T-34 medium tank, meant for a kit in 1:35 scale, from the production of the PANZER ART marque. This is not a model of a tank, but a replacement for the tracks from the box: the name states the width of 500 mm and the split V pattern used in the years 1942 to 1943.
The T-34 came about at several plants at the same time and each of them pressed the links a little differently. The width of 500 mm with the V pattern belongs among the most frequently seen, but the rendition changed in the course of the war and it is precisely by it that a machine can be placed with a production batch and with a period of service. If you are building a particular vehicle from a period photograph, the choice of the right design is just as important as the shape of the turret or of the hatches.
Before you seat the tracks for good, wrap them dry around the drive sprocket and the idler wheel and check the spacing of the teeth. Let the upper run rest freely on the return rollers, so that a natural sag arises. In painting, a dark base proves itself, with the edges picked out finely in a metallic shade and finally dust or mud pigments rubbed into the hollows of the pattern.
The set serves to make a build more accurate and is supplied without a basic model and without paints.
