Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet light tank T-50 in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby. The set holds parts for the hull, the turret and the running gear, and decals; depending on the form, photo-etched parts tend to be included as well. The model is built unassembled and unpainted.
The T-50 was a Soviet light infantry tank designed at the start of the Second World War as a modern replacement for older light types. It brought a solution advanced for its day, but it was complex in design and costly to build, so only a small number of examples came about. Even so it is among the interesting and less usual subjects of the Soviet armored inventory.
Polish kits of this kind call for more careful cleaning up of the parts and precise fitting of the running gear. Glue the joints with thin cement for plastic, and any photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. After spraying the base coat (primer), choose Soviet green; bring out the recesses with a dark wash, draw the edges in with dry-brushing and round the running gear out with dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
