An injection-molded plastic kit of the T-80BV main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The real subject is the version fitted with explosive reactive armor. The package holds a great many plastic parts and photo-etched parts.
The T-80 is a Soviet main battle tank that stood apart in being driven by a gas turbine. The T-80BV version was supplemented with a set of explosive reactive armor, that is blocks of reactive armor on the turret and the hull. The tank was armed with a 125 mm gun with automatic loading and ranks among the capable armored vehicles of the end of the Cold War.
First finish the running gear and the lower hull, then the upper areas, the turret and the blocks of reactive armor. Use thin cement on the plastic, spray over a base coat with an airbrush, and you will create the weathering with washes, filters and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
