A set of photo-etched grilles in 1:35 scale from Tetra Model Works, meant to replace the coarser plastic grilles of the engine and cooling deck on the Meng plastic kit of the Russian T-90A tank. It is not a model but a detail accessory that gives the upper hull a realistically fine look.
The T-90A is the modernized version of the Russian T-90 main battle tank, with a welded turret. It comes out of the T-72 design line and ranks among the modern Russian armored vehicles, with reactive armor and a fire-control system.
Carefully cut out the original plastic grilles and clean up the openings. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make any bends with a bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine structure of the grilles comes into its own once painted and treated with washes and pigments.
The set holds photo-etched accessory parts only. The base Meng kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
