Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:35 scale, intended for detailing the exterior of the German Tiger I heavy tank in its early production version. It is not a stand-alone model of the tank but an accessory that is fitted to a plastic kit and replaces the parts that cannot be made thin enough by injection molding.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm gun. The early production versions differed from the later ones in a number of details of the hull and the turret, and it is exactly these that the set addresses.
The parts made of thin brass sheet are separated with a sharp knife on a hard surface and formed with tweezers or a photo-etch bender. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the brass and prime it with a metal primer, then apply weathering with a wash and pigments.
This is an accessory photo-etched set. The plastic kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
