A photo-etched set for a model of the Tiger I tank in the mid production series, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Tiger I is a German heavy tank of the Second World War, recognizable by the massive angular hull with vertical armor plates, the wide tracks and the gun of 88 mm caliber. It was built in several series, which differ from one another in details: the mid series differs from the early one for instance in the form of the commander's cupola. The designation Mid. Production in the name marks out exactly this form of the vehicle.
Photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale for a model of the Tiger I in the mid production series. Photo-etching makes it possible to produce parts from thin sheet, that is in a thickness that cannot be reached with injection-molded plastic. It is exactly for this reason that photo-etched parts replace features which look oversized on a model. Which parts the set holds and where on the vehicle they belong is given by the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not with scissors, so that they do not bend. Make the bends in a bending tool or along a metal ruler and press along the whole length of the bend at once. Metal takes only a few bends and then cracks, so think the shape through beforehand. Glue with super glue applied with a pin; cement for plastic has no effect on metal. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a base paint meant for metal, otherwise the paint rubs off the smooth surface.
The kit of the tank, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
