A set of figures of German soldiers from the time of the Second World War, listed under the name of the Totenkopf division. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted and are meant for a finished vehicle model or for a diorama, to which the figures are what gives scale and a story.
The Totenkopf division was a unit of the Waffen-SS. It was formed at the beginning of the war, went through the campaign in France in 1940 and then fought on the Eastern Front, where it was later rebuilt as a panzer division. Its record is bound up with war crimes; in the kit it is a historical subject and nothing more.
Figures in this scale are usually split into a torso, a head, arms and equipment so that the pose and the modeling of the face can be kept. Dry-fit the parts to see how they sit together and fill the seams at the shoulders and at the waist, because on a figure a seam shows immediately. Cut the excess material off a little away from the part with a sharp blade and sand the rest down.
For builders of vehicles and dioramas in 1:35 scale whose finished scene is missing a crew or infantry. Paints, glue, putty and the vehicle model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
