1:35 UH-1C

Eduard UH-1C painting mask 1:35

An Eduard painting mask in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a modeling accessory, a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in fine masking tape. The masks follow the glazing framing of the cabin and other surfaces exactly, so they make it possible to spray the window frames quickly and cleanly without tedious cutting out. The subject is the American UH-1C helicopter, the gunship version of the famous Huey. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Bell UH-1 Huey is an American multirole helicopter, one of the best-known machines of its era. The UH-1C version was a reworked gunship variant intended for fire support, with a more powerful engine and a reworked rotor for carrying armament.

Use

• Lift the masks carefully off the sheet and stick them exactly onto the glazing and the masked surfaces of the model.
• Press the edges down carefully, so that paint cannot run underneath, and then spray the color of the frames.
• Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off, which gives you crisp, clean edges.
• It is used on a model that is assembled and has its base coat on.

Who it is for

• For modelers building the UH-1C helicopter in 1:35 scale.
• For anyone who wants clean masking of the glazing without preparing masks by hand.

An accessory for modelers. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
