This is a set of detailed 3D-printed resin parts in 1:35 scale, not a kit of a gun. The set captures the empty spent cases of the American 105 mm howitzer. It serves to finish the scene at a firing position, where empty cases pile up around the crew.
The American 105 mm howitzer used ammunition loaded in two parts; after firing, a brass cartridge case was left, which the crew ejected. Little heaps of empty cases are among the typical elements of an active artillery position and give a diorama an authentic story.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean the surfaces up and wash them in lukewarm soapy water. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint them in brass shades; polishing, a darker wash and a hint of sooting at the mouth will bring out the used look.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and the model of the gun are not included in the package.
