The Eduard photo-etched set of headlight guards for the Sherman tank in 1:35 scale is a photo-etch detail accessory, not a model of the tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
An etched brass detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but an accessory — a set of fine protective cages and headlight guards for the American Sherman tank. These small mesh guards are usually too coarse in injection-molded plastic or missing altogether, and the etched version looks far finer and more faithful.
The M4 Sherman was an American medium tank and the most widely used Allied tank of the Second World War. Its front headlights were protected in the field by metal cages against damage — and it is exactly this small but noticeable detail that adds credibility to a model.
Separate the etched guards carefully from the fret, bend them as needed on the edge of a blade into the shape of a cage and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Give the brass a primer before varnishing. It is best to fit the guards before the final weathering, so that washes and pigments read as one with the surrounding surface of the tank.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
