Responsibility details are not available.
A two-figure set in 1:35 scale cast from resin by the maker Bravo 6. The subject is the crew of an American helicopter of the period of the war in Vietnam. The castings are supplied unpainted and unassembled; once they are cleaned up they are glued with cyanoacrylate and painted.
The figures are designed for models of helicopters in 1:35 scale. The dress of a crew differs markedly from the infantry: a flight helmet, a one-piece flight suit and a chest ballistic vest give a different silhouette and a different distribution of color, which shows in the painting. The characters can be used not only in the cabin but also beside the machine, at the front of the fuselage or in conversation with the ground crew, so they will serve even when the model is closed up.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces wet with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. If the figures are to sit in the cabin, try the fit dry before painting and shim any gap rather than sanding the casting down. Apply a primer before painting. Build the flight suit from a base tone through shading to lightened edges, leave the helmet semi-gloss and manage the visor with a gloss clear varnish over a dark base. Finish the faces and hands with a brush and even the surface of the fabric out with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
