Star Decals 1:35 US S.P. Howitzers - the M7 Priest and the M8 HMC are water-slide decals with markings for American self-propelled howitzers, issued to mark the anniversary of the Normandy landings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of classic water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from the Swedish maker Star Decals. This is not a kit - the sheet serves to mark built models of the American self-propelled howitzers M7 Priest and M8 HMC. It was issued as a special to mark the anniversary of the Normandy landings.
The M7 Priest self-propelled howitzer gave American units mobile fire support, while the lighter M8 HMC accompanied the armored formations. The set brings tactical numbers, stars, vehicle names and unit signs matching the deployment in North-West Europe.
Trim the decal and dip it briefly in lukewarm water. Apply it onto a smooth gloss varnish to prevent silvering. A decal softener will help it wrap around detail and rivets. Once it has dried, go over it with a clear varnish.
This is a marking sheet, not a kit. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
