Building and painting tips

Wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap so that the release agent disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and wet-sand the marks with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint over a thin base. With a group it is essential to vary the shades of the uniforms and the skin, so that the figures do not look like copies. Washes and shadows will draw out the folds of the working poses, pigments on the knees and boots will settle the figures into the terrain and a matte varnish will even out the sheen of the whole scene.
