This resin set holds a set of wheels for a model of the French wheeled armored personnel carrier VAB in the 4x4 version in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the box. The tires carry a faithful tread of the Michelin X pattern and finely worked lettering and a rim profile, which on plastic parts is usually missing. The VAB (Véhicule de l'Avant Blindé) is an armored vehicle of the French army.
Wheels are among the most closely watched details of any wheeled vehicle. Resin replacements with a sharp tread and a clean rim markedly raise the realistic impression of a model and make it possible to bring out wear and deposits of mud with weathering. The set is intended for a model of the VAB in the 4x4 version.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For the effect of a loaded tire the lower part of the wheel can be sanded down lightly. Apply the ground before painting, and paint the tires and the rims separately.
This is an add-on resin set of wheels. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
