This photo-etched metal set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is intended to refine a model of the American Dodge WC-54 ambulance in 1:35 scale. It is not a standalone vehicle model but an accessory with which you replace the coarser plastic elements with accurate thin parts in photo-etched metal.
The Dodge WC-54 was the standard ambulance of the American army in the Second World War, built on the chassis of the WC series. It carried the wounded from the front lines to dressing stations and medical facilities and became one of the iconic Allied support vehicles.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface, bend them with a bending tool or two razor blades and glue them with super glue or two-part epoxy. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with a base color so that the shade holds well.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
