A diorama accessory from the Czech maker Hauler. Wire cages for carrying and storing material are to be seen everywhere something is made, repaired or transshipped, and on a model scene they fill two roles at once: they fill empty areas and at the same time give away what the place in question serves for. There are 2 pieces in the package, so they can be stacked on top of each other or placed about different parts of a view.
In workshop and repair scenes, by railway ramps and stores, in factory yards and at the back areas of military units. An empty container is good to set aside, a full one, by contrast, for loading; everyone fills it with a small load according to the theme of the scene, whether parts, barrels, crates or scrap.
With a wire structure it is parallelism that decides. Bend the parts over a straight metal edge or in a bender, not between your fingers, and hold them while gluing, so that the walls do not converge. Photo-etched parts have to be degreased before painting, and resin ones washed free of mold release agent. Begin the painting with a dark base, and only then spray a metal shade lightly from above, so that the shadows stay inside the mesh. Apply the rust sparingly and mainly to the lower parts and the welds, where the damp would really linger.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a load for the containers are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
