A diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Eureka XXL. It is NOT a model: it is a set of cast resin wooden ammunition boxes for the 50 mm Kw.K.39 L/60 gun. The boxes capture the period transit boxes faithfully.
The long 50 mm 5 cm Kw.K.39 L/60 gun was the main weapon of the later versions of the Panzer III tank and was carried by the Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma armored car as well. The ammunition was carried in wooden boxes, which piled up at firing positions and in depots and belong among the characteristic elements of German dioramas.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and glue them with cyanoacrylate; protect your airways when sanding. You will draw out the texture of the wood with glazes, a wash and drybrushing, and set the metal fittings apart with steel and rust.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
