Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet rocket launcher BM-13-16 Katyusha on the chassis of the W.O.T. 8 truck in 1:35. The model combines a detailed truck chassis with the launcher rails for a salvo of unguided rockets, and according to the instructions it can be built either as the rocket launcher or as an ordinary truck. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the exact number of parts and the decal options are set out in the instruction sheet.
The BM-13 was a Soviet salvo rocket launcher of the Second World War, which released sixteen rockets of 132 mm caliber from its rails in a short time. It therefore covered a large area and had a strong effect on the morale of the enemy as well. The launcher was mounted on various truck chassis; here it is the W.O.T. 8 vehicle, supplied under Allied aid. The vehicle served both to carry the rails and for transport.
Assemble the chassis, the engine and the cab first, and only then mount the launcher rails. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, lay a primer under the metal surfaces and spray with an airbrush. Washes and pigments will create a realistic patina of dust and mud from field roads on both the vehicle and the rails.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
