A resin figure of a British officer riding a camel in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and works well for bringing First World War dioramas to life. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figure shows a British officer of the First World War period mounted on a camel. Camels were used for transport in desert and arid regions, where conventional cavalry or vehicles were less practical. The composition of the rider and the animal suits scenes from the Middle Eastern and North African fronts of the time.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces, wearing breathing protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a coat of primer; build up the uniform and the camel hair with shades and glazes for a three-dimensional look.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
