This is a resin figure of a German soldier of the Afrikakorps (DAK) sitting on a vehicle wheel, in 1:35 scale. It suits vehicles used in North Africa.
Deutsches Afrikakorps operated in the conditions of the North African desert. The men wore a tropical uniform different from the European one. The figure captures a soldier at rest in a pose seated on a vehicle wheel, typical of genre scenes.
This is a resin figure for more experienced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a little dish soap to remove any mold release agent from the mold. Carefully cut off the casting blocks and the pour stubs and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and use a primer suitable for resin as the base. The figure can be painted by brush or airbrush, and faces and shadows model well with oil paints and glazes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
