A resin detail accessory of the PANZER ART brand in 1:35 scale. This is not a model but a set of standalone castings of the ammunition boxes used with the German 5 cm PaK 38 gun and with its tank version, the KwK 38. They serve as faithful scale accessories for dioramas, for the cargo beds of vehicles and for gun positions.
The 5 cm PaK 38 was a German anti-tank gun of the Second World War whose cartridge cases were transported and stored in standardized transport boxes. The KwK 38 version of the same caliber formed the armament of part of the Pz.Kpfw III tanks. Boxes for rounds are a rewarding element of period scenes and give a setting its scale authenticity.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and sand them lightly if needed. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. The wooden and metal boxes stand out once a primer has been applied and, during painting, with washes, highlighting and fine traces of wear.
These are resin scale accessories, not functional objects and not a model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
