German shovels of the Second World War are a 3D printed detail accessory from Eduard in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a detail accessory. The set contains 3D printed German entrenching shovels, which were part of the everyday equipment of Wehrmacht vehicles and soldiers during the Second World War. Direct 3D printing captures the fine shapes of the blade and the handle better than simplified plastic parts.
Entrenching shovels were an inseparable part of the equipment stowed on the fenders and sides of armored and wheeled vehicles alike. Small tools of this kind give a model an authentic, lived-in look and are a rewarding place for weathering and worn metal.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and clean them up. Bond them with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Imitate the wooden handle with brown shades and a glaze, and the metal blade with a dark base coat, fine edge highlighting and a hint of rust.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Paints and glue are not included.
