The photo-etched set Eduard Admiral Graf Spee 1:350: fine metal parts for refining a model of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee. It is not a model but an accessory for the kit (Trumpeter).
Responsibility details are not available.
The photo-etched detail set Admiral Graf Spee in 1:350 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but a set of fine brass parts that replace the coarse plastic elements of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee. The set is designed for the kit from Trumpeter in the same scale.
The Admiral Graf Spee was a German pocket battleship (a heavy cruiser), scuttled by its own crew off Montevideo in December 1939 after the Battle of the River Plate. The set replaces the coarse plastic railings with scale-thin ones and adds steps, ladders and other deck details that give the ship a faithful, fine appearance.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors, make the bends according to the instructions (ideally on a photo-etch bending tool) and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate): cement for plastic does not hold on metal. With long railings, patience and gluing in shorter sections pay off. Bend the railings along the outline of the decks and glue them section by section. We recommend spraying unpainted parts with primer and the color of the ship before fitting.
The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a model. The ship kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
