The set from MASTER contains 20 turned brass barrels for the Bofors anti-aircraft gun of 40 mm caliber in the air-cooled build, in 1:350 scale. These barrels suit a number of Allied ships, among them the British monitor HMS Roberts. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts and refine the anti-aircraft armament. It is a detail accessory, not a ship model.
The Bofors of 40 mm caliber was one of the most successful and most widespread anti-aircraft guns of the Second World War, and most Allied navies used it. Air-cooled builds were deployed in single and multiple mountings on a wide spectrum of vessels, from monitors and destroyers to large warships.
Separate the barrels carefully from the casting block, clean them up and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then put the paint on with an airbrush because of the fine detail.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
