Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive plastic kit of the projected German H-class battleship (DKM H-Class) in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It is a model of a planned but never completed ship. The package contains a great many parts, a hull from multi-direction molds, finely raised deck planking, photo-etched parts, a metal anchor chain, two shipboard seaplanes and a stand.
The H-class battleships were part of the ambitious German Plan Z program of the late 1930s. They were to be larger and more heavily armed than the Bismarck class, with a main gun battery of 40.6 cm caliber. Construction of the first ship began, but shortly after the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 it was halted because of a shortage of raw materials and the priority of the submarine program. No H-class ship was ever completed, so the model shows the projected form.
Glue the large hull firmly and let it cure thoroughly. Fit the photo-etched railings and the fine parts at the very end. Spray with an airbrush, bring out the panels with a wash and separate the bottom of the hull by masking. Use the stand enclosed for display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
