A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for superdetailing a model of the American Fletcher-class destroyer in 1:350 scale. It is not a ship kit but an accessory that replaces coarse plastic elements with thin, faithfully worked metal parts and markedly lifts the look of the finished model.
The parts are cut from the fret, bent along the etched lines and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Railings and fine elements are painted only after they are attached. On ships at this scale it helps to work with tweezers and good lighting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
