Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French strategic submarine Le Triomphant in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model has a full hull and the slender, smooth forms of a modern vessel; the package holds parts of gray plastic, photo-etched items and a stand for display. Thanks to the length of the real boat, a respectable display model results.
Le Triomphant is the lead unit of the class of the same name of French nuclear submarines carrying ballistic missiles (SSBN). She entered active service in the second half of the 1990s and fulfills the role of a carrier of strategic weapons. She is a large vessel with nuclear propulsion and a characteristic rounded hull.
The smooth surfaces of the hull call for careful filling and sanding of the parting seam, so that a clean surface stands out. Airbrush painting in dark naval shades, a primer base and a matte final varnish are suitable. Glue the photo-etched items with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
