Graf Zeppelin was a German aircraft carrier laid down before the Second World War and worked on during it. The building was never fully completed and the ship never reached combat service. She remains a well known example of the German effort to have a naval air arm of its own. She is thus known above all as a project, not as a machine that saw action.
Consider whether you will build the model with the full hull or as a waterline one. Paint the extensive flight deck with an airbrush; fine elements such as railings and equipment can be added with photo-etched parts (if they are not in the package, they are available as an accessory). A suitable base suits it for display.
