An injection-molded plastic kit of the British heavy cruiser HMS Kent in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The model has a hull from side-split molds with a finely rendered deck pattern, a large number of parts, photo-etched accessories and a display stand. The assembled model is a large and striking piece for a display case.
HMS Kent was a British heavy cruiser, the first ship of the subclass of the same name within the County class built in the interwar period. The County class cruisers were marked out by a high freeboard and a characteristic silhouette with three funnels. During the Second World War HMS Kent served among other places in the Indian Ocean and in the Mediterranean.
Decide whether you are building the full hull or the waterline version. Glue the deck fittings and the photo-etched railings with cyanoacrylate glue, and the plastic parts with a thin cement for plastic. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and a final emphasis of the panels and details with washes and a dry brush. The finished model shows to good effect on the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
