The box holds six miniature injection-molded models of the MiG-29K carrier fighter (NATO reporting name Fulcrum D) in 1:350 scale. These are small accessory aircraft intended for populating the decks of aircraft carrier models in the same scale, not a stand-alone large model. Clear canopies are included, and with a carrier version a build with folded wings is a common choice.
The MiG-29K is a carrier multirole fighter derived from the land-based MiG-29 and adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. It has strengthened landing gear, an arrestor hook and folding wings. It is operated by naval air arms, including the Russian and the Indian ones.
The parts are small, so separate them with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic in small amounts. The folding wings and the canopies call for care. Painting with an airbrush before final assembly is the easiest; a gray low-visibility finish was typical.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
