This SPACE set from Eduard brings color 3D decals of flags and signal pennants for a model of the battleship Tirpitz in 1:350 scale. It is not a model of the ship but a decorative and detail accessory. The SPACE technology prints color layers onto decal backing paper, so the flags read as three-dimensional and realistic.
Tirpitz was the second battleship of the Bismarck class of the Kriegsmarine, nicknamed the Lonely Queen of the North after her long deployment in the Norwegian fjords. The set lets the deck and the masts be fitted with faithful flags without your having to paint tiny pennants by hand.
The elements have no adhesive layer of their own. With a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, moisten only the backing paper, lift the flag off with tweezers and settle it on a cleaned and degreased place, where you fix it with PVA glue (white glue). The manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue, and do not use a decal softener, as its chemistry attacks the printed resin.
A decorative and detail accessory. It does not hold the ship model itself.
