You can build the model either as a full hull on the stand or as a waterline version; check the exact contents on the box.
USS Forrest Sherman is a guided-missile destroyer of the Arleigh Burke class, the backbone of the surface forces of the US Navy. These multi-purpose ships combine air, anti-ship and anti-submarine defense, vertical launch systems for guided missiles and the Aegis combat system. Forrest Sherman was launched in 2004 and carries two shipborne helicopters.
Build the model in sections — hull, deck, superstructure, radars and hangar. Use thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Decide in advance on the full-hull or the waterline version. A primer base and airbrushed coats in a modern gray are the way to go; the railings and the fine details will raise the realism. Paint the helicopters separately. The model goes on display on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
